I thought as an aspiring author that it would be a good idea to have a blog dedicated to books. Ones I've read, ones I want to read, and ones that I'm working on writing. I think learning about different writing styles is a good thing, so I will include some of the tricks of the trade I've learned through my own experience as well as have things up here to help not only aspiring authors, but also to do some writing on my own a little each day.
Some of tools that I've found most important as I've endeavored to pen (or type, let's be honest, most of it goes onto a hard drive) varying different texts is to just let what comes come. It's not necessarily important to have people to go to, but just to let your thoughts flow from your mind onto the medium of recording device you have available.
The reason for the blog-title, Devious Delights, is because reading, writing, and even critiquing other's work is an inspiring thing for me and something that brings me joy.
I hope this blog can help other authors like myself in their journey. I'll hopefully be able to post once a month.
